Jane Matallana

Jane Matallana brings nearly two decades of experience in insurance and risk management across the transportation and real estate sectors. She began her career in 2003 as a Claims Manager and was promoted to Risk Manager, overseeing Property & Casualty, Professional Liability, and Workers’ Compensation claims, including high-exposure and multi-jurisdictional matters. She also implemented a Modified Duty Workers’ Compensation Program that reduced premium costs and improved return-to-work outcomes.

Jane joined GRC Management in 2014 and currently serves as Director of Insurance. She leads insurance procurement and renewal strategy for General Liability, Property, Auto, Workers’ Compensation, D&O, E&O, Environmental, and Disability coverages across the managed portfolio and corporate entities. A Licensed New York State Property & Casualty Broker, Jane provides strategic oversight of claims, litigation management, Self-Insured Retentions, compliance matters, and carrier negotiations.

She partners closely with ownership groups, brokers, and regulators to mitigate risk, strengthen compliance, and secure competitive, comprehensive coverage that protects both assets and operations.
